Saturday Studio Sessions: Sculpting Society

  • The Elisabet Ney Museum 304 East 44th Street Austin United States (map)

Discover the connection between sculptures and our society. How do buildings and statues reflect the world around us? Through this session, participants will delve into this topic by using found materials to create a three-dimensional public art piece. Our education staff will lead the demonstrations and all of the materials will be provided. This program is free and open to all ages!

Saturday Studio Sessions

Join us this summer for our Saturday Studio Sessions every other Saturday from 10 am to noon. During these workshops, participants will flex their creative thinking skills by exploring innovative ways of making art. This is a great opportunity for kids and families to examine specific themes through different artistic processes. Participants will also get to work on their projects in the same studio environment that sparked Elisabet Ney’s passion for art!
